In order to give the DragonRaid system a bit more background, here are some maps and information which will help to clarify a few things.

The size of the planet of EdenAgain is roughly the same as that of our Earth. The percentage of land area to water coverage is lower though. About 20% of EdenAgain's surface is land. Therefore, overall weather conditions are a bit different. They are more changeable, and sometimes harsher. For ease of play, EdenAgain has a 24 hour day and a 365 day year. It spins west to east, causing the familiar "rising" of the sun in the east.

The size of Talania is something close to that of the United States, 3000 miles across and about 2500 miles north to south. See the Weather page for regional weather charts.
Map of the Liberated Lands

The Liberated Lands are a bit larger than Florida, and fortunately share about the same weather conditions. The growing season is almost year-round, and only the northern highlands near the Peaks of the New Beginning ever see snow. Winters are cool and rainy.
